Design and implementation of Monitoring Plans

If your project has designated restoration objectives or success criteria, such as native plant survival or coverage, Riley Consulting can design and implement an appropriate monitoring program to track the progression of your site.

Monitoring Plans are typically designed to assess one or more of the following:

  • Performance standards;

  • Permitting requirements;

  • Plant survival and mortality;

  • Presence and abundance of noxious weeds;

  • Areas of active erosion;

  • Any mitigation, reseeding or replanting needs.

Analysis of Monitoring Results

We submit a detailed report to the client following each monitoring survey. Depending on project requirements, these reports may contain:

  • Statistical analyses;

  • Illustrative graphs and charts;

  • A narrative discussion of monitoring survey methods and results;

  • Progress photos of survey areas;

  • Other information as needed to adequately describe results and how they compare with project objectives.
